Objectives

Obtain a set of Sunfury Arcanist Robes, one pair of Sunfury Researcher Gloves and a Sunfury Guardsman Medallion and bring them to Caledis Brightdawn at Manaforge Coruu in Netherstorm.

Description

Infiltrating the ranks of Kael’s army will not be an easy task. With my knowledge of illusionary magic I could pass you off as one of Kael’s followers, but there are certain details in their uniforms I could not replicate.

Bring me a set of their robes, a pair of their gloves and a Sunfury guardsman medallion. This will make the results of my magic much more convincing.

Arcanists are all around the perimeter of the manaforge.

Guardsmen are near the entrance.

Researchers are found further away, mining rocks.
Guardsman at 49,79 (and all other building entrances)

do i need to be at a certain reputation with scryers before i can do the quest with him? or this a chain that has an unlisted pre-req?

I tried all the techniques described to improve the drop rate (re-logging, abandoning and re-starting quest, etc.) but I’ve simply come to the conclusion that the drop-rate just stinks.

Just some bad luck, the robe took me about 7 kills, and the other 2 items dropped off the first one I killed.
is there an aldor side for this quest? I want the boots from gathering information.
I got the the last two but I can’t find the gloves!!!:(
drop rate was jst fine for - 3rd or 4th on each other than the guard which was first
If you use the three charges and haven’t completed the quest abandon the quest, trash the item then get the quest again.
How do you get this quest hes red to me must be for scryers only faction?
Drop-rate wise this is the worst quest Ive ever done …killed over 60 Arcanists but still nothing …(the other two items dropped pretty quick)
After I reloged (not alt-f4), I logged out. First or second kill dropped each piece.
I have had success with this technique in the past. Works on most things if you seem to be getting a bad or bugged drop rate.
