Objectives

Borak, Son of Oronok at the bridge north of Eclipse Point wants you to find a Rotten Arakkoa Egg and deliver it to Tobias the Filth Gorger in Shattrath City, located in northwest Terokkar Forest.

I’d have given up had I not noticed… He’s a Thistlehead. I couldn’t place it at first but the signs are all there…

Now if we could get our hands on some bloodthistle, we’d be in business.

In my travels, I met a shady Broken in Shattrath named Tobias.

Tobias made a business of trading bloodthistle to blood elves for rotten arakkoa eggs.

Directly west of here are arakkoa ruins. Search them for an egg and head to the lower city of Shattrath. That’s where you’ll find Tobias.

Wild! I opened a ton of eggs without success- thought I was doing something wrong and looked it up on here. Sure eenough- the very eggs described worked on the first shot for me. i guess you need to use those exact eggs. One on the left, when facing the lake through the lean-to, worked for me.

I am not sure but I think you have a better drop rate if you try to open the eggs after contracting the illness. I had a lot of bad luck with the eggs until I opened 1 while sick.

41/8 57.9 two eggs in one nest
This one worked for me to. Went to 42, 58. There are two nests under a lean-to, each with its own egg. First one made me sick, but the second was the “good” bad egg. You’re at the right place if right behind the nests you can see the green lake just behind where the “stop the summoners” quest takes place.
