when you get this quest you receive “Voren’thal’s Package” open this and get the teleporation stone and the presence.
probably best to do this with a full team with a slow building of DPS. if you do too much at first you will steal aggro from the NPC, too little and the NPC die.

i have heard this quest can give alot of people trouble.

flew to the island instead of teleporting.

me and another lock tried to take him down, bu were not carefull enough of his reflective shield… 15% left.

gt a boomkin to help us out… and it was CAKE. monkin hit a 25k crit starfire, i was drain tanking for 1.3k a tick (not including other dots) and our destro lock hit a 16k scorch

if u have a scryer with you, this quest is easy as lng as the orb is used as sooon as u start, and spammed (1ce a min obviously)

Locks have this even easier. if i had shown up with health pots, my cookie and other healing stuff i could have probailyl soloed this 5 man quest.:)

Team of 2 - arms warrior and holy priest. When it came time to do this quest, we were a little uneasy about it, especially after seeing someone spend all day asking in chat for 4 more people to do the quest with. We decided to try it anyway, just the two of us.He was Aldor and I was Scryer, so we had the item to weaken the guy as well as the Aldor assistance.

In short, the battle was over in a couple of minutes. Pew Pew, just blew Socrethar’s face right off.
I tried to dps him with a lock, didnt work
so the lock done drain life and i just sat bck and dps
took about 10 mins to drop him but wasnt a prob
