Objectives

Borak, Son of Oronok at the bridge near Eclipse Point in Shadowmoon Valley wants you to Deliver Illidan’s Message to Grand Commander Ruusk at Eclipse Point.

Description

Take this disguise and enter Eclipse Point. Once inside, use the disguise to cloak yourself. The Eclipsion blood elves will be unable to see through the disguise, thereby granting you safe passage to Grand Commander Ruusk.

Once you find Ruusk, tell him where next to move the cipher. You’re going to have to act your heart out, <Name>. Play it off as if you are his superior, delivering a message from his lord. That should do it!

Oh - watch out for the dragonhawks as they see through the disguise.

However, if you just land and click the disguise, you put it on while mounted, and you can walk up on the mount and talk to him then fly off
After you complete the quest, DON’T MOUNT UP! The disguise fades when you mount and you will probably die. Get away from Ruusk first before mounting! LOL.

Once you have put on the disguise, don’t leave Eclipse Point or you will lose the disguise and you will have to go get another from Borak.

u dont have to kill anything as soon as u get to eclipse point put on the disguise ride through them all and talk to him

For those of us that are 70 / flight form / flying mount users fly to the steps right in front of the platform, land and put on your costume, you SHOULD be able to do so without agroing, if not face ruusk and from the top of the stairs fly to your left over behind the ‘tents’ and put your costume on.

for those of you hoofing it, same basic idea but you can run in from the ‘gate’ with it on, no real issue there.
This is very easy go to 46,72 thats behind Grand Commander Ruusk kill the dragon first. then put on disguise and talk to Ruusk…very easy….70 Pally
first my pet aggroed, then i took 14 dmg from a fall and lost my disguise, this quest is pissin me off.

Make sure that you get the key before using the disguise and talk to Ruusk before looting the chest. Opening it will break the disguise, then port/hearth out.

The dragonhawks are very easy to avoid, I just put on the disguise down at the main road and walked all the way up to Ruusk. No aggro at all, very easy.
