Objectives

Chief Apothecary Hildagard at Shadowmoon Village in Shadowmoon Valley wants you to slay 12 Shadowmoon Zealots.

Description

I call them “Spectrecles.” Clever, no? When you equip these goggles, you will be able to see the spirits of Shadowmoon Valley.

Before I let you have them, though, you must promise me that you will help us clear out the ghosts at the village.

Take the goggles and destroy any and all spirits that you see wandering about Shadowmoon Village. Hopefully, destroying these spirits will force any that remain to move elsewhere.

How could Gorefiend be here? This is impossible!

The legend of Teron Gorefiend is one that causes even the Forsaken to tremble in fear. By all accounts, Gorefiend was a warlock of Gul’dan - extremely powerful in his own right. When Gorefiend was slain by Orgrim Doomhammer, Gul’dan took the soul of the fallen warlock and placed it inside the broken shell of a slain knight of Stormwind. And so was born the first death knight of the Horde.

This is a great quest, no chance of gankers or multiple pulls, great for weapon training. If you like cloth, loads of drops, should be a blue quest
It is a blue quest, finish the entire chain and you get to chose a very nice headpiece, you get to choose from all the ones except the one at the top on the following link.

After reading the post about all the drops, i was excited to farm this. All i got was a couple of grays. Lots of Netherweave though - 3 stacks in about an hour, so the quest is certainly worthwhile. I didn’t turn it in right away and came back the next day - Same thing.

The ghosts have a multicolor mist around them, you can farm forever. Just keep grinding theese, their drop is good

I just got off with a GM, i lost my head gear after equipping the spectrecles and they say it is a known issue but can’t verify the loss so just too bad. I had a scout’s hood with two blue gems socketed
This is so not worth the XP, you have been warned, equip at your own risk.

Funniest quest so far, others without the goggles on can’t see what you’re fighting with. A guy asked why I were beating the **** out of the mailbox
