Destroy Cyrukh the Firelord and then speak with Earthmender Torlok, also found at the Altar of Damnation.
- Cyrukh the Firelord slain
Description
How many times has this spell has been used in the history of our worlds? Undoubtedly, its power for destruction is unparalleled.
What you must do now is take the cipher, now made whole, and read from it at the Altar of Damnation - where the memory of Gul’dan stands.
What you will see once the words are uttered are the memories left imprinted upon the land. Stand your ground and await the coming of Cyrukh.
You must be victorious, <Name>. This land can not withstand another shattering.
Progress
Is it done?
Completion
<Earthmender Torlok takes the Cipher of Damnation from you.>
You have done as the elements asked. For that, we are grateful. While you will be rewarded, trouble still looms. The spirits of fire are in turmoil. A claim has been made. The Cipher of Damnation is known by another.
It is cryptic, I know, but that is all that the spirits would have me know. That and this symbol…
<Earthmender Torlok turns around and points to the sky.>
What could it mean?

Quest Help Notes
Quest: 10588
we had some trouble with this quest…we used the cipher like 10 times he would spawn but nothing happened eventually it worked and I got the 1h axe for fury and tanking when I hit 70 in 1 lvl
he was kinda tough but we got him good we had…
69 Druid (feral tank)
70 Druid (feral dps/off healer)
69 Warrior(me(fury))
68 Warlock (demonology
70 Priest (holy)
none of the NPCs died but one almost did
3-manned with me (70 Prot Warrior), 70 Holy Priest and 70 Hunter. Was pretty easy, actually.
—————————-
Don’t forget SV, too. It’s 4 Heroics for the 3 quests.
—————————-
3-manned the quest, shadow priest healed, t4-ish tank and myself (t5 mage) no problems.
Now just to do the 3-heroics: SH/SL/Arc

Read the quest, go to the back about 28,56.
After looking for a group for several hours to get this guy <Cyrukh the Fire Lord> dead, I decided to give it a couple tries myself solo style. After trying several different combinations of spells/curses, I had all but given up trying to solo this jurk.
I could regularly get him to about 25% health, but was constantly having to heal my VW because of the fire damage.
I took a break from it for about an hour, then remembered i had a different pet that ws IMMUNE to fire damage, The infernal.
On a lark I figured i would SS myself for one last solo attempt at this guy, set up everything I needed with fel armor to max out my DPS, started the quest running and got the dork summoned and told the orcs i was ready. Ran to his spawn point, summoned the infernal and set him to attacking, cursed Cyrukh with weakness and loaded on the Dot’s and siphon life. Not during the whole fight did i ever once have to heal the infernal since he resisted ALL the fire based damage thrown at him. I watched as one by one the orc’s got beat down and watched as Cyrukh’s health dropped bit by bit.
When Cyrukh died, the last orc had but a sliver of life left. I was elated, but then to my abject horror, i realized the quest never updated. I quickly rechecked my quest log, hoping that the entire script had to play out before I got credit. It isn’t so. If you manage to kill him solo, the quest WILL NOT UPDATE!
ARGH!
it’s no longer possible for the infernal to solo this guy. at about 40% health, he starts stomping the p*ss out of infernal with physical damage. On a bright note, the infernal can still solo him to about 40% health, then you need a real tank and healer.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I think the orcs need to live for you to compleate the quest. So, yea, woohoo, ya solo’d it…but ya didn’t keep them alive.
Easy mode. Two manned him as well.
Did this quest yesterday as a def warrior together with a holy priest. The Firelord is quite easy to kill as the Torn-heart family helps you.
Easy mode. 2 manned him as well.

This is the last part of the series
Finished this quest yesterday. The group was like this.
70 warrior
69 feral druid (me)
68 feral druid
70 hunter
69 elemental shaman.
Since the other druid and shaman was dps horny i offred to heal.
Switched to healingear and healed during the battle. Used innervate during the fight since other druid and shaman got some aggro, and they didnt bother to heal up themselfe. Wasnt hard at all, straight forward fight.
Deacent reward for both resto and moonkin druid.
I choosed Staff of the Redeemer since i think its smart to have a backup healingear. You never know when you need it:)
