Apple sold 270,000 iPhones in the first 30 hours
According to the official results of the June 30, Apple sold 270,000 iPhones during the first 30 hours of sales - Apple admitted and apologized for the problems of 146,000 activation with AT & T. Apple plans to reach the figure of one million units sold to September 30, and 10 million by the end of 2008.
And this despite the fact that the iPhone without activation with AT & T is nothing more than a paper expensive treads.

In fact it's a big mistake to say that without the service of AT & T device is an expensive paperweight. Let me explain: the device has a music player (Obvious is an Ipod) video, 2 megapixel camera, bluethoot, wi-fi (I mean that connects the Internet anywhere with wireless reception) e-mail account, display maps and weather and Mac browser, Safari. By that I mean that if one buys the device still living in another country where there is not even coverage of AT & T as "unique" to lose are the options of SMS phone and internet in receipt of any party (not the wi-fi obviously) and maintaining all the other useful features. Not counting that it is becoming easier to unlock the phone for use with any company anywhere in the world.
