Guatemala Election 2007: Electoral Mourning
Making a small survey among acquaintances about their favorite candidate for this fourth day of November I found that most of them still has not decided for whom to vote because they think everyone in the dark past of the candidates is said and has been found to have had to do, both with organized crime, violence, mafia, dirty militarism and corruption in Guatemala. Moreover saddened to see in the media, some of the candidates in the first round embraced with the classifieds to the second round with the only goal of favors.
Most of the people surveyed had even expressed a desire not to vote or to vote but to vote no.
I think that voting no or not to vote is not the best way to express our dissatisfaction because when we do that only by letting others decide for us.
Then it occurred to me What if the November 4 (Election Day in Guatemala) all Guatemalans express our discontent with the two alternatives and with the electoral system in our country, attending long polls but dressed entirely in black? While it is true that the politicians will not change his past or the alternatives that we proposed, but at least we will express to the country and to the international community our disagreement with politicians in general in our country.
I would like to see where Guatemalans are in solidarity with ourselves and do our view dissatisfaction or whether we will continue forever lowers his head to populist politicians, dirty and corrupt.
If you're a Guatemalan who loves Guatemala forward this to all your contacts and express our dissatisfaction with politicians.

This chain reminds me of when the Cacif fashion of mourning on Friday against Portillo. Even I remember when people who had nothing to do (and well-manipulable) met dressed in black on the obelisk.
I personally do not think that going to vote for black due to the candidates fall on their knees to ask forgiveness or not you expect the one who made the string.
If you are unhappy that the candidate of their choice is not in the second round, they will not vote and sending chain platform not stupid.
