Creator Gary Gygax dies Dungeons and Dragons and RPGs
Do they play World of Warcraft? have something to thank Gary Gygax is considered the father of role-playing games. Gary died yesterday to 69 years for multiple health complications.
In 1973 I think Dungeons & Dragons, along with Dave Arneson has been the inspiration and driving force for a number of films, television series, books and other RPGs. Especially relevant these days is the most important game genre known as RPG triggered MMORPGs (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) such as Ultima Online or World of Warcraft already has more than 10 million players.
