World of Warcraft: Battlegrounds Holiday 2008 Schedule
Playing a BG during its holiday weekend increases your honor gained.
Holidays occur during all weekends, starting early Friday morning at the same time honor is calculated and continuing until early Tuesday morning at the same time. During a holiday, emissaries from that Battleground will be found in the major cities, and honor/faction rewards for performing objectives in that battleground are increased.

Battleground holidays currently follow a four week rotation schedule as follows:
Week 1 = Alterac Valley weekend
Week 2 = Warsong Gulch weekend
Week 3 = Arathi Basin weekend
Week 4 = Eye of the Storm weekend
